Spring Fiber Festival Season Has Arrived!

Hello and Happy Fiber Season to all of our friends!

We are soooo excited to kick off our spring festival season! There are soooo many good things coming your way and we are tremendously over-gushing and exploding at the seams to be able to share our new creations with you and introduce you to a new product we are now carrying!

First… we went into a dyeing trance and are bringing you 30+ new colorways in our Shaniko/Mulberry Silk line of fibers! Such a luscious fiber, which- by the way- is FINALLY up on our website! We really stepped up our game for this year’s colorway releases…so much so we almost want to keep them all to ourselves so we can spin them all! The new colorways will find themselves being brought into our other lines of fiber and our alchemist bags over the next month. (Still wishing for an 8th & 9th day of the week so we can bring more and do more!!)

New colorways in all of our yarns bases will be hitting the racks and our website over the next few weeks as well and truly… you will fall madly, deeply in love!

Over the winter and after MUCH deliberation, research and playing with Kris’ new spinning wheel we have decided to start carrying Lojan Spinning Wheels and we couldn’t be more happy! The Lojan Traval Buddy and the Lojan Buddy Spinning Wheels are the two we chose to start with. These wheels are designed by Jan Louett working side by side with his daughter, Loes van Aken and they are all about wheels that are affordable and last a lifetime and sustainability! These wheels were made to spin thin, thick or art yarns effortlessly. The Travel Buddy folds and can be carried in the included backpack which is a lovely option for those that travel or go love to go spinning in groups! This is what Kris has and takes to all of our shows now!

WAFA has continued to be a wonderful experience for us ! We’ve “met” so many new exceptionally talented fiber artists and great people!!
