Fall Fiber Season is finally here!
Hello my colorful fiber friends!
Welcome to fall!! What a busy season this year! Most of you are aware that I missed most of the spring season as I dealt with invasive ductile carcinoma. I promise, I would have much rather been at shows seeing all of your lovely faces! But now though, with the help of family and dear friends, I am able to do our fall fiber season before ending my year with two more surgeries.
If you haven’t seen the new fall colorways… oh my goodness do you have a treat waiting for you! Bazzite, Ekanite, Thorium, Brigmanite, Mitan. Neya, Abhurite and Salt are our newest additions to most of our lines and have been a HUGE hit!
AHHHH and BEAKER FEET!!??!! Have you seen?? Ooooh…. sock yarn in a beaker that is a yarn bowl!! Sooooo much fun and so far all the rage at the first of our fall shows this year!
I am loving the addition of the Lojan Spinning Wheels and I couldn’t be more happy that I made the choice to carry them! The Lojan Traval Buddy and the Lojan Buddy Spinning Wheels are the two we chose to start with. These wheels are designed by Jan Louett working side by side with his daughter, Loes van Aken and they are all about wheels that are affordable and last a lifetime and sustainability! These wheels were made to spin thin, thick or art yarns effortlessly. The Travel Buddy folds and can be carried in the included backpack which is a lovely option for those that travel or go love to go spinning in groups! This is what I have and take to all of my shows now!
WAFA has continued to be a wonderful experience for me! I’ve “met” so many new exceptionally talented fiber artists and great people!!
